Hi there! We’re back with another weekly update, and this one’s packed with improvements that make it easier than ever to manage your trips, payments, and client experience. Let’s dive in.

Itinerary Template Folders

You asked for more ways to stay organized, and we listened. You can now create folders for itinerary templates in your library. Itinerary template folders support all of the same features you're used to - from bulk moving items, to folder sharing, and more. Learn more.

Move Trips To Our New Payments Model

If you missed our big webinar or update last week, Tern now supports a new and improved model for managing payments and authorizations. Payments are easier to track, you can add notes visible to your clients, we no longer clear out authorization details when information changes, and more.

Any new trips you create will automatically use the new model. And now, for existing trips, you’ll see a banner guiding you through the transition when you’re ready. In a few more weeks we'll also automatically migrate existing trips for you, no manual work required.

We’ve tested this extensively, but if you spot anything unusual, reach out—our team will address it right away. And you can learn more about payments & authorizations in Tern here.

Quality of Life Improvements

• Enhanced the signup flow so travelers now see the total room cost dynamically calculated based on their selections, even when dates are flexible.
• Adjusted the in-app support chat icon so it no longer blocks important table actions. Now, you can scroll to the bottom of tables without interruption.
• Following our theme of making Tern work better on smaller screens, editing trip items should look better on-the-go.

  • Cruise templates not picking up dates
  • Mobile app fix for images for activities within option blocks
