Updates this week include a streamlined emailing experience for invoicing, new custom branding options, and support for google maps link creation in AI destination guides!
Following last week’s invoicing release, we’ve doubled down with a quality-of-life improvement that saves you clicks and helps you move faster. Now, when you generate an invoice, an email draft is automatically pulled up with the client’s information pre-filled. You can insert a saved template, tweak the message, and send—or even schedule it for later. Your saved signature is included too.
For those who prefer a more manual flow, downloading the invoice is still available mid-stream. We also cleaned up some design details: logos now scale better, and the header layout has been refined into three clean sections.

On Friday, we rolled out a feature that’s been high on many wishlists: custom brand colors.
Within your business settings, you’ll now find a brand color picker under the branding section. It’s a small addition with big impact—client-facing buttons throughout Tern will now reflect your chosen color, creating a more cohesive look that matches your visual identity. The system also handles light/dark text automatically to meet accessibility standards, but if you need help adjusting, our support team is just a message away.

We’ve also made improvements to AI Assist in a few key areas:
Thanks to feedback from agency owners and sharp-eyed community members, we’ve also released a batch of subtle fixes and enhancements:
We're continuing to work on a few surprises behind the scenes—and as always, your feedback is helping shape what’s coming. If you’ve been testing any of these features or have ideas on what we should prioritize next, we’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for being part of the Tern community. We'll see you next week with more.
