We've got a packed product update this week featuring one of the most requested upgrades to Forms, enhancements to the Traveler mobile app, and a handful of quality-of-life improvements that make day-to-day work in Tern even smoother.
For advisors collecting traveler details, things just got a whole lot easier.
You can now configure contact information forms in Tern to allow travelers to add multiple people within a single form submission. That means one person - say, a parent- can enter information for themselves and their kids on a single form. All traveler-specific questions (like birthday or phone number) are filled in per person, while general questions (like signing a waiver or agreeing to terms) are only answered once.
Even better? You don’t have to rebuild anything. Simply drag this new form element into your existing forms, and it should update accordingly. Learn more.
This update is a huge time-saver and one of the most frequently requested features from the Tern community. And we’re not done - soon, you’ll be able to customize which fields are required for the primary contact only, helping you collect what you need without overburdening travelers.
On the mobile side, we’ve launched our first set of upgrades to the Tern Traveler app. The login, signup, and settings screens are now fully native, providing a smoother, faster, and more polished experience. No more clunky web redirects.
This change also lays the groundwork for upcoming branding customization, so your advisor brand will look right at home in the app.
It’s the first of many updates to elevate the traveler experience—stay tuned!
The new editor experience is now live in Forms, Tasks, and Terms & Conditions, and it’s rolling out soon to the remaining areas: Trips and Activities, followed by Emails. Once fully released, we’ll officially say goodbye to the old editor and standardize the experience across Tern.
We’ve also released a few highly requested tweaks and bug fixes:
That’s a wrap on this week’s updates. As always, we love hearing from you—drop your thoughts in the Tern Facebook group or message us directly in-app!
