New Agency Features
Commission Reconciliation - in beta
Tern now supports Agency Commission Reconciliation - which allows you to view all your agents' bookings, log supplier payments, export data to pay your agents, and bulk mark commission as paid. Learn more.
Right now the main benefit of tracking commission through Tern is to eliminate duplicate data entry for your agents, or replace a more manual process that you are using today. Your agents are already planning their trips in Tern - so as they mark things as 'booked' you'll have access to them immediately, no duplicate data entry needed. We also plan to support additional functionality like ‘Unclaimed Bookings’ in the next few months! Read more about our Agency Roadmap here.
Reporting - in beta
We’ve also added a new reporting dashboard for agencies. See total bookings, gross sales, and breakdowns by month, supplier, and agent. Track received and expected commissions, and filter data to get detailed insights. Learn more.
Both features are in an ‘open beta’

Offline Access for our Traveler App
Our Traveler app now supports offline access! When your clients open the app, it automatically downloads the latest itineraries, photos, and documents so they can access their travel details even without Wi-Fi or data. Just remind them to open the app before they head out for their trip to get the latest! Learn more.
Additional improvements
Clicking anywhere on an insurance option “row” now opens it directly, saving you time
You can now import loyalty programs and contact relationships when importing your contact list
Bug fixing - as always, the engineering team has been hard at work improving the quality and polish of Tern. Keep those reports coming!
We’re thrilled to bring you these updates and can’t wait to hear what you think. Keep the feedback coming, and stay tuned for more exciting features next week!
