Tern uses Google APIs to provide certain features and services within the Tern Platform. This notice describes how we use Google API services and handle user data.

Google API Services

Tern uses Google APIs, including but not limited to:

Google Calendar API - for calendar integration and scheduling
Gmail API - for email integration and communication
Google Drive API - for document storage and access

User Data Handling

When you connect your Google account to Tern, we access and use your Google data only as necessary to provide the services you've requested. We:

Only access data that you explicitly authorize
Use your data solely to provide Tern services
Do not share your Google data with third parties except as necessary to provide our services
Comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

Limited Use Disclosure

Tern's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your Google data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Revoke access to your Google account at any time through your Tern account settings or Google account settings
Request deletion of your Google data from our systems
Export your data at any time
