This week’s product updates are focused on reducing manual work, improving agency workflows, and tightening up performance across the platform. Here’s what’s new.
AI Assist Now Automatically Detects and Groups Packages
We’re rolling this out to 20% of users first to monitor performance and gather feedback. Assuming everything looks good, it will be available to everyone by the end of the week.
---
Many of the quotes and itineraries you import from suppliers—especially DMCs—are packaged trips. Until now, AI Assist wasn’t able to reliably detect when items belonged within a package and retain the correct package pricing structure. That meant extra manual work: recreating the package, entering pricing, and moving items into the correct grouping.
With this update, AI Assist can now:
- Automatically detect when items belong to a package
- Create the package structure for you
- Apply the correct total package cost and cost type
- Group all relevant items appropriately
Instead of manually rebuilding the package and adjusting pricing, everything is structured correctly from the start. This significantly reduces typing and data entry—one of our biggest goals with AI Assist.

Project Expedition: Location-Based Filtering, Automatically
If you’re using Project Expedition, you’ve told us something fair: when you’ve already added a location to the itinerary, you shouldn’t have to manually re-filter tours for that same location.
Now, when a day has a known location (for example, a cruise stop in Quebec), the tour library will automatically filter to that location. No extra searching, no manual filtering—just relevant options surfaced instantly.

Agency Commission Locking
We’re excited to roll out Commission Locking for agencies—a feature many of you have asked for.
For agencies that source leads and pay a different commission split on those leads, you can now lock a trip to a specific commission type (e.g., “Agency Lead – 60% split”).
Once locked:
- Agents cannot modify the commission split for bookings on that trip.
- Agency admins can filter for locked vs. unlocked trips for auditing.
- The lock does not retroactively override items already paid out or marked as booked.
Importantly, this works whether the agency admin created the trip or the agent did—you can lock commission on existing trips as well. Learn more.
Coming soon: client-level commission locking. For agencies that apply a reduced commission rate to all trips for certain clients (not just the first one), you’ll be able to lock commission directly on the contact profile. That update is expected by the end of this week or early next.

Quality of Life Improvements
We also shipped several smaller—but meaningful—improvements:
Cruise Ports No Longer Appear as Bookable Items Ports created through our cruise library were previously showing up in the Bookings tab within a package, which caused confusion. They’ve been cleaned up and are no longer treated as bookable entries.
One-Click Form Link Copy You can now copy a form link with a single click—no need to open the full send modal just to grab the URL.
Improved Form Spam Prevention We implemented stronger protections after seeing a spike in bot form submissions. You should notice a significant reduction in spam responses.
Agency Payouts Performance Improvements For larger partners with thousands of payouts, the Payouts tab could be slow or crash. We’ve made significant performance improvements to ensure faster loading and greater stability.
Traveler App Time Zone Fix We resolved a time zone display issue in the mobile app to correctly reflect CEST vs. CET.
As always, we’d love your feedback—especially on the new AI Assist package detection and Commission Locking. Keep it coming!
