At Tern, we’re always looking for ways to make trip planning more seamless and inspiring for travel advisors. This week, we’re thrilled to introduce the first of many features in our new partnership with Project Expedition - a tool designed to make building unforgettable itineraries faster and easier than ever.

Explore and Add Tours in Just a Few Clicks

With our new Tour Library (Beta), you can now search through Project Expedition’s extensive catalog of tours directly within Tern. Whether you’re looking for single-day adventures, multi-day experiences, or destination-specific activities, you can find exactly what you need - then add it to your client’s itinerary instantly.

Here’s what you can do today:

  • Browse tours by region, title, or activity type
  • Add detailed tour descriptions and media automatically pulled from Project Expedition
  • Include pricing manually for now (automatic pricing is coming soon)
  • Mark tours as optional and include them in option blocks for client choice, if you'd like!

This integration marks just the beginning of what’s to come. Soon, your clients will be able to book tours directly through Tern, creating an even smoother experience for everyone involved. Learn more.

Reporting Gets a Major Upgrade

We’ve also rolled out significant improvements to Reporting (previously known as Analytics). You’ll now find the Analytics tab renamed to “Reporting” to better reflect how advisors use it every day.

While the name has changed, the functionality remains familiar - plus a few exciting enhancements:

  • Save Custom Views — Apply filters (like date ranges or destinations) and save them for future use.
  • Property Reports — See room nights by property and brand, helping you report back to suppliers with precision.
  • Location Filters — Drill into your data by country, U.S. state, or city to see how your business performs geographically.

These updates make it easier to understand your sales performance and share insights across your team.

You may notice the older, legacy reporting views have also been removed from Tern. If you have any issues or feedback with the new experience, please reach out to support@tern.travel. Learn more about advisor reporting, or agency reporting.

Quality-of-Life Improvements That Matter

This release also includes several small but meaningful updates based on your feedback:

  • Workflow Tags - When you share a workflow tied to a tag, Tern now automatically creates that tag in the recipient’s account if it doesn’t exist. This ensures auto-apply workflows function perfectly without extra setup.
  • Credit Guarantee Labels - In your pricing tab, guarantee payments are now clearly labeled, eliminating any potential confusion.
  • Improved Contact Imports - Importing contacts now requires an Import ID to prevent duplicates, keeping your data clean and reliable.

What’s Next

These updates represent another step toward our vision of helping travel advisors work smarter, not harder. The Project Expedition integration will continue to evolve, with automatic pricing, direct booking capabilities, and other improvements all on the way.

As always, if you have questions or feedback, our team is here to help. We love hearing from you - it’s how we keep building tools that make your work simpler and your service exceptional.

Stay tuned for more updates next week!
